12z HMON. 941 and a tad west of Lafayette. LAST VERSION WAS 950 and in the same spot.

12z HWRF 938 and just west of NO.....Southwest trajectory surge into the lakes and bay. Last version was 941 and in the same spot.

Both HMON and HWRF have it down to 938mb right before landfall. Both have landfall in the 940s. Probably looking at 145mph and ~940-945mb at landfall at the point.

Seems to still have major symmetry issues regarding the winds in the SW quad being far weaker but I expect as the hurricane winds increase, those will wrap around. each pass the NE quad increases substantially it seems.

With Covid and the timing there aren’t going to be mass evacuations of New Orleans. Just hope the new flood gates hold.

Itll be wash rinse repeat. Ill speak for myself. No way Im hanging out at 4 ft below seal level on the right side of a major cane and hoping Govt Protection System holds up. Id hike north to higher ground find a hotel lobby ,shelter other side of lake Pontchartrain. My 2 cents.
