I mostly just look on here, but am going to post. My wife took me up to NYC to see Shane Gillis for my bday at MSG. Well our flights are cancelled back to GSP and I get to see the once in a lifetime snow dumping (for me) in NYC. Y'all stay warm and safe.

Even if it does get below 32 in Atlanta it will probably be only 30-31. It's not like it will be 25. So I don't see a huge icing event for Atlanta.
Regarding outages, how likely am I going to lose power for Dunn/Erwin area? I saw that its possible.
Bought a Starlink Mini for all my travel. Anyone else have one and tested the effectiveness during ice storms? Everything charged up and tub full.

NC will be dry slotted on short term models. If true, this is a big win. There will be some frozen precip but not as much as they were originally showing a day or 2 ago. Hope that sticks.

I haven't seen this posted but might have missed it. Krik has been doing it for a long time. I am still betting on colder than modeled but we will see
If 925s are overdone by even a couple C here it will make a big difference
And it will stay that way.

People seem to be way more stressed out than they were prior to Helene. Everyone’s just driving around not knowing what this place is gonna look like 48 hours from now. Similar to Helene except now they’re given the task of not freezing to death. High anxiety weather event
