From those mPing reports it’s probably just virga. Beam is lower closer to the radar site, so precip isn’t making it quite to the surface.
Still funny looking though.
Supposed to be 15-20” at my fathers house. They’re about four miles NNW of Lehigh University.

Tonight
Snow, mainly after 8pm. The snow could be heavy at times. Low around 22. Northeast wind 10 to 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 8 to 12 inches possible.
Thursday
Snow, mainly before 11am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 24. North wind 9 to 17 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
Tonight

All of this snow falls within 14 hours in Albany, NY, just let that sink in for a second. 3 feet of snow in 14 hours, that's an average of almost 3"/hr for over half a day. Excuse me while I try to teleport myself there.

Sounding from Albany, NY during the heaviest snow. Temps in the mid 10s, haven't seen a storm do that since at least January 1988 down here in NC.

He might have a thunder sleet trouser explosion. When you try to set up shop and straddle the line sometimes you get burnt. I should know. I built my house on the line.
I saw snow 3 times in February last winter. The law of averages says I won’t see snow again for another 6-7 years.
Lol, The last time it snowed at JB’s house he ran around the yard and called it a recon mission.
The west extent of the accumulating snow with this storm got to within 5 miles of my house in Union County. 15 miles east of me had a little over 2 inches. The following night I had a low of 2 degrees at my house... if I had any snow cover I would have easily been sub zero... the closest I have been to getting a sub zero temp since January 1985
