Major kudos to the GEFS in spanking the Euro on this MJO pulse. We officially cracked 4.0 sigma a few days ago in phase 7 and today is virtually at 4.0 sigma amplitude too lol. This will deliver a pivotal death blow to our La Niña

Each run is a different story, or each few runs. Can't take any run seriously, but the majority says the heat is here for awhile. It could gradually change though. I'm just enjoying the ride until the end of the month and everyone else should too. There isn't a thing to watch other than rain and warmth. Once we make it to the end of the month, then we can have a look and see where we are. If we are still aboard the eat train and the SER doesn't move, its over. Otherwise, we will see.

One positive about the EPS is that all the cold air doesn't evacuate North America. Coldest temps are in the north west with the -PNA and GOA ridge. EPStemps.gif
 
Don't worry . The Twitter world says the PV split will save us and that the models are wrong ....
