Approaching 5 inches in Dahlonega and it’s snowing the hardest it has all day in the past 15 minutes.

Now the scanner is talking about road problems...Duh..Can't believe the 85 bridge was not treated. Do these people not stay up all night looking at models and radar? LOL. It is still snowing too. Unbelievable!

Thread title should probably be changed lol. The snow might have not lasted that long, but it was anything but light. When it was all snow it was absolutely ripping

Hmmm. Heavier returns breaking out in one last blip near Douglasville. Hope we get a parting shot of decent snow and not rain to wash it away. Still hanging tight at 33 here.

Wanted to wait until it actually did snow here to make my first post and now I finally can...... 34 and moderate now currently here ne of athens...about an inch...maybe 1.5. Not earth shattering but beautiful and certainly better than model projections

Starting to see a few reports of snow now in Rock Hill, SC. As noted earlier, this probably where the highest totals will be along the 77 corridor given that virga has been falling over this area the longest relative to Charlotte.

Ripping. I don’t believe anything over the dusting we already have is attainable. Elevated surfaces trees bushes etc are covered. It’s a Niño winter wonderland. #BACKLOADED
