I'm sorry but the HRRR is completely wrong. Nam will come out on topWhich is why I don’t completely dismiss what the HRRR is showing though I do think it’s totals are unrealistic. Looking back at the 3/13/2017 event, even though it was a different setup it did come from a strong frontogentic band, the HRRR was the first to pick up on the impressive rates that areas of the southern and eastern portion of the CLT metro had with that... 2-3 inches in a couple hours.... oddly enough the antecedent conditions today are very similar to the day before that system
Yeah, with these setups, but the warmest models. WAA with no cold source usually busts on the low end. I’ve learned my lesson after the last two storms. I think this really is only going to be an event for the mountains.I'm sorry but the HRRR is completely wrong. Nam will come out on top

If Greenville gets 4-5”, I’m moving back!
You say this crap like you Know exactly what mother nature will do! You got a long ways to go I'm afraid!I'm sorry but the HRRR is completely wrong. Nam will come out on top
But this is not a cold chasing Moisture situation. Totally different setup, not that I'm saying 4-5" no way I see that happeningIf Greenville gets 4-5”, I’m moving back!
The future cast models show it starting as rain in GSP area, then changing to snow after a bit! That’s always a dangerous game, and waiting on the flip is painful! I’m rooting for everyone! ️
You’re absolutely correct... most areas in Upstate SC and western NC outside the mountains will know what’s going to happen based upon how things play out down your wayWell you guys will have a test dummy in GA to see if the warm nose can be broken through with heavy rates.
Doesnt looks good. Moisture doesn’t make it.Maggie valley still looking good thought? I have my own thoughts still leaning towards 2-4 there. Unless the hrrrr and rap is right then it be a bust. What’s everybody else think there?
