Looks like SW VA is going to be the place to be. Don’t think this one is even worth me chasing to the Triad at this point. They may get an inch or so, but that’s just not enough for me.
I didn't realize the NWS was forecasting a low so warm here. The forecast is 42, but it's 36 right now. TWC is forecasting 33. I'm curious to see when the cloud over fully sets in tonight because any radiational cooling definitely will come to a screeching halt.

Hmm my forecast low for tonight was 32 and I’m already down to 26 I’m just wondering if this going to make a difference with the system coming thru later today

Today's high temperatures will be more important. If we can stay lower than forecasted today, it will bode well for tonight's event.

I think if the models don’t waiver by the time the 12z Nam comes out then they will have to rush to get out the warnings, especially with the 06 Nam trending south from earlier runs.

Forsyth County is the lone county under a WWA for the RAH CWA. That's something, I guess?

im not sure if cloud cover ever set in over my place. I am made it down to 33. It’s still mostly clear.

Anywhere from nothing up to 4" here. Ill expect nothing and hope for 2. Overnight models had pretty good consensus of rain changing over around 9 or 10pm. Variations in duration and warm air takeover. Dropped down to 24 so far this morning..

For you, maybe north to Fredricksburg would be closer? I think just west of here will be best if over this way. 3K nam warm nose was ok this run. paste bomb with temps 32-33 the whole event.
Models still a crap shoot, all about if we get good rates here in clt. Expecting all rain but if we get some onset snow I’ll be pleasantly surprised.
