Finally a decent fantasy run

I really couldn't give a monkeys behind what the GFS is showing beyond D7. It does show what can happen with a little luck, but beyond that it has no value nor does any other deterministic output at this range.

The overall H5 look has unsurprisingly come into better agreement with the ensembles and again shows the potential in the pattern. That's all that can be taken away at this point in the game.

You look at last 3 frames 0z euro surface and gfs glory run just now and they are perfectly matched fyi.
Suppresion is least of my fears as its a Little diff setup this go around. Its the opposite ill be worried about.

The GEFS is mixed precip hell. Lots of snow, sleet, ice, rain. All up to the timing of waves.
