It does seem to be spreading out. Maybe mesolow doing work?

Drives me crazy to watch a TV met show the radar blossoming and then show their in-house model that shows nothing and they say "it just dries up so a maybe flurry nothing more". Then they are outside doing the forecast, literally have flurries falling, say they have flurries but still show their model with nothing and don't adjust their commentary. Lol just admit your model is a little dry and the precip is making it further east, no big deal

The clear-air radar is blossoming pretty good on the NW side of ATL and in particular, NE Alabama. Some people in these areas may see a car topper this AM.

It does seem to be moving slow. I'm curious on how much will pile up for someone. Looks to possibly be widespread 1/2" with some areas getting more.

We got a flizzard in Paulding county GA lol 3rd time seeing snow this year. A Win

Very surprising that I am getting snow flurries here in Birmingham this morning. 23°
GSP is describing it as an arctic front, which makes sense....but I wonder if it continues to be sort of this single line so to speak. Typically with a GSP mesolow in these setups, the precip will slow down a bit and stand in the frontogenesis. May not get that as much this time with a less defined mesolow and convergence zone. We'll see shortly

Absolutely puking snow, already have a half inch on the grass easily. Temp dropped from 31 to 27.8 quickly.
That was fast, I'm getting a few flakes now.

This is probably why the hrrr has been bullseying areas around Charlotte. Getting more backbuilding
