Wintry Feb. 19-20

Drives me crazy to watch a TV met show the radar blossoming and then show their in-house model that shows nothing and they say "it just dries up so a maybe flurry nothing more". Then they are outside doing the forecast, literally have flurries falling, say they have flurries but still show their model with nothing and don't adjust their commentary. Lol just admit your model is a little dry and the precip is making it further east, no big deal

GSP is describing it as an arctic front, which makes sense....but I wonder if it continues to be sort of this single line so to speak. Typically with a GSP mesolow in these setups, the precip will slow down a bit and stand in the frontogenesis. May not get that as much this time with a less defined mesolow and convergence zone. We'll see shortly
