Wintry Feb. 19-20

Mostly snow here now, light to moderate intensity. Pretty amazing how this is catching the public so off-guard but I guess it's to be expected in these types of situations. I am in charge of scheduling for an engineering firm that tests soil, and had clients from Troutman to Rock Hill asking yesterday for us to have technicians onsite this morning. I kept saying 'if road conditions allow' when responding to them yesterday and they probably thought I was crazy.

We appreciate your sacrifice
Not getting snow shouldn’t wreck my mood at 36 the way it did at 16. But here we are

I’m headed above 5k feet here in about 3 hours so that is keeping me backed off the ledge for now. Thinking I might need tire chains now though after seeing how much snow everybody to my north got this morning.. maybe rent a helicopter?

Yep, same look. But we lucked out on that one with the pivot and that little line just sat on us for hours. That was a nice surprise after the disappointing totals the day before when the sleet came in quick.
