Consider Big Frosty just switched over to snow, I wouldn't worry too much.
22/12, light flurries the last couple of hours, with winds gusting between 20-25mph. Most of the snow here is not showing on radar.

That wouldn't add a lot to what we already have (unless ratios are like 30:1), but it would be nice to see snow falling again today.

Looks like a pretty good line has redeveloped on the east side of the mountains. A good little burst for anyone that gets under those returns considering there's light stuff already happening with no returns overhead. I have something like frozen drizzle here. No Virga Today!
Ok I’ve got a very light mix of things now. Looks like rain but when I look down at the steps it’s frozen

I'm staring at the head of this squall line off my front porch and it looks like a pitch black thunder cloud moving my way. Not sure if i'm gonna get clipped by it or not, but dang...
Of course I would like to get a little more snow, but I'm especially pulling for the foothills, Charlotte and upstate folks. With high(er) ratios maybe there can be 1" wide snowfall.
Heaviest snow I have seen in a long time chicken feathers falling.

Freezing drizzle on the way in to work the last 30 minutes. That was unexpected.
Appears I’m on some sort of converging boundary if I squint. I’ve got moisture from 3 seperate directions

Temp down to 31.5 but now there's no precip.

Pushing a good half inch now and steadily coming down. The upper level low saved us. Just cold enough for all snow here.
Floor is prob .5” for yall.. ceiling might be 2.5
Folks it's chicken feathers and cold weather!! 26/22. Fitting for the last hurrah!!

Do anyone else see the slight rotation happening over Charlotte?
Currently off Mallard Creek Church Rd near Prosperity and driving here from home had mist,graupel, and now more snow, though light.
No offense to anyone else but the S.Piedmont deserves every bit of snow that we can muster today!!! Spent years watching the mountains, Hickory, Morganton, and the Triad get dumped on while we deal with the warm nose down here.

My nieces are literally about to get in the school bus, the two hour delay was a mistake

Iredell cancelled and went to a remote day at 6 am this morning. They were also going to do a 2 hour delay last night.
Prolly will fall apart some as it comes this way but I bet we get a couple hours of flakes at least
