It stopped again in Kernersville.Yeah. Radar is clear but snowing right down. About an inch here. 26°
Damn, that’s rough. Wake County snow gradient is truly undefeated, though you may have a shot at turning it back to heavy snow and outperforming the rest of the metro as the coastal spools up.Back and forth between Sleet and Snow in Garner, it had been sleet for a while but we just switched back to big flakes. If we could keep up the heavy snow for any decent length of time we might get decent totals but I would call it a dusting with a covering of sleet so far.
Might start snowing light around 6-7am, and the heaviest should move through around mid morning-lunchIf you had to pin down a time for the ULL action tomorrow, what would it be?
In Knightdale as well but just now starting to see some fat flakesPretty nasty dry slotting over my area right now. Hopefully it'll fill back in soon.
Yeah, I am hoping that area can bring southern Wake an “equalizer”!Those returns in Lee look JUICY
10 more to go!! Youre getting a foot
Getting absolutely smoked under this band in southeast virginia. Hasnr really been moving the last 2hrs.View attachment 170885
Were you sleeting down there? Really surprised as I don’t think you’re too far from me as the crow flies, although that sleet line really isn’t that far away from any of us.Half an inch yet again in Chatham. Back to flurries and back edge now east of Greensboro so another hour or so to try and make an inch.
and we're back to big flakes. That was maybe 15-20 minutes of sleeting. We flipped over to sleet. We're at 1.5" now.
No sleet at all IMBY at least. Just very light snow. I drove up to Cole Park Plaza and county line and can tell Orange County did a little better than me. The closer I got the more snow was on the surfaces. Were you sleeting down there? Yeah, I noticed Chatham has been under the light returns, hopefully y’all will catch some of this heavy band coming through nowHalf an inch yet again in Chatham. Back to flurries and back edge now east of Greensboro so another hour or so to try and make an inch.
youre close to the durham/CH line near 15-501, right? as i mentioned last night, i had a feeling Chatham side of CH would get significantly less than where you're at - and I think I probably have a bit more than you (im guessing im past 2.5 inches now but going to go out and measure/snow walk soon!), so the cut offs are definitely pronouncedWere you sleeting down there? Thank you. I hope you’re managing okay.So awesome for all of ya'll getting miraculous snow!![]()
