Light to moderate snow w/sleet now. My car is starting to turn white already.

Wow the snow is really coming down now. Probably already a couple inches on top of the two inches of sleet I still have on the ground. I must say I’m impressed I haven’t seen it snow this hard in a long time

About to bundle up and go for a ride on my 4 wheeler in the snow
850s. You can see how the heavier precip dropped the 850s SW of HSV.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I tend to think we overrate radiational cooling a bit in these situations since once the clouds roll in, the temperatures usually shoots up, anyways?
