This is random but I just want to say that being a father is the most fulfilling thing. No amount of depression and self centerdness can weigh down the joy of being a dad. I just want to pause this moment and live it for a billion years

I have a trial with Sling now, which seems fine to me, although sports are a bit choppy (I don't know if that's because of my VCR or not...haha...It might be an issue with using a Firestick instead of a Fire Cube or AppleTV or something like that with a faster processor). I also have Netflix, Prime, and an HD antenna. I don't need a ton of stuff, but maybe YouTube TV is a better option than Sling?

I have you tube tv. I give it a 7 outa 10.
 
Only GSP can not get a drop of rain with 3 cold fronts, a wedge, and 6 possible tropical entities in the Atlantic! We have skills!
 
For the majority of the 2010s three things are certain. Clemson is a machine, the Panthers are an average mediocre football team at best and the SER has ruined winters. As we head into another fall and winter the pattern continues.
 
Polar Vortex. Mark my words. Winter will come North Carolina northward. ESP northern foothills maybe not so much Asheville metro due to climate change there.

Not aimed at myfro but instead to the general readership here:
Zzzzzzzzzzzz….so repetitive..all about the same. And why is there always "battle zone" in about the same place on many of these forecasts. So, which interchangeable eastern snow weenie put this one out? Or is this actually the same one that has been posted many times?
 
When will Florida ever be shown for cold I mean seriously even 3 degrees below normal but every forecast never shows them in the blue

That's right... rain is the stuff we get when I have Braves tickets or the forecast says snow in the winter.

I think it's just several bad years lumped together. I doubt winter will cease to exist. I'm sure many Floridians believed a hurricane hit to the state during that massive hurricane drought was becoming less likely over time, but only recently did that end. It's always been hit or miss in the SE for winters from what I understand. We get some streaks of big storms and some with nothing at all.
