You do realize you live in the deep South. We aren't exactly Maine or Minnesota. That's why so many snowbirds have moved during the last century or so.

He doesn't live in the deep south, he lives where he see snow more than I see blue skies. If I lived up in Indiana I be like "Yall southeast folks are screwed this year" lol.
 
Just once I'd like to see him hit a receiver in stride.... be nice if the O line would block too.

Panthers are just too inconsistent on offense, including Cam's passing and the line. They make a great play, and then get sacked twice in a row. Cam makes a great pass, then throws it over a wide open receiver. And the run defense is bad, too. It should not be this hard to beat the Bucs.

Agreed.... I've said it before they need to rebuild. Need a coach, QB, D line and O line. It will be years before they are anywhere near playoff contenders imo

Cam Newton’s shoulder is done. I fully expect him to retire in the next year or 2. He’s been a great quarterback for us but it’s time to move on
 
To spin it in a different way...I can't believe Cam Newton was a guy I used to have real fear for and it wasn't that long ago that I did. I mean it's been some time but is time starting to really fly for me?
 
Cam has been horrible with his passing accuracy. They should have traded him a couple of years ago for an actual passing QB. He isn't going to run anymore like he used to, and that is a big reason why he was dangerous. Need to rebuild the team around Luke and CMC. They should be the only ones safe to stay around.
 
No business losing to the Bucs. Offense is too inconsistent. Cam's passing is too inconsistent, and he doesn't run anymore, which is what made him so dangerous. And then you have the stupid play calling.
 
Reading these last few posts just warmed the cockles of this Bucs fan’s heart. I will sleep well tonight. Bucs defense played a hell of a game...they had every business beating Carolina.

There’s an understanding between quarterback and coach “hey I’m not your work horse anymore. I can’t do it. I’m banged up and I don’t want any more serious injuries before I ride off into the sunset.” To me, that’s exactly what is going on in charlotte. They kept Cam around to put butts in seats knowing good and well he wasn’t capable of taking Charlotte to the playoffs and here we are 0-2 and there’s no way to hide it anymore

Is the storm being directed out to see because of this super ridge, or is the storm going east keeping the ridge in place.

Anyone with high level of detail know why this ridge is so strong?

The average high today at KATL is now 83F, lower north. The record high at KATL is 95F, the forecast is for 97F.

Actually got some rain last night. nothing more than 0.15, it was raining at a good clip for about 100 seconds

Well good news is that there seems to be a stalled front coming into place just north of here over the next couple of days, and today may be promising if not tomorrow for some rainfall.

Bucs are just barely better than the Panthers. It had nothing to do with the Bucs defense. The Panthers offense sucks. The line can't hold anyone, and Cam's passing accuracy is horrible.
 
1-9 in the last 10, that win was against the Saints backups in wk 17. Cam isn't a franchise quarterback, rivera just isn't getting it done, Norv turner is 400 yrs old and made a bad offense worse. I'd rather see them tank at this point and get a top 5 pick. Maybe they can rebuild

The good thing about the drought is that I don’t have to cut the grass 2x a week now. I lowered to mower last weekend to 1-1/2in and she should be done for the summer if it can stay dry for another 7-10days.

Well I’ll take “just barely better” and relish in it then. I guess that Cam fumble wasn’t forced and the 4th and 1, McCaffery just decided to pull up short. Anyway, I like the rivalry and hope Cam can heal up and turn it around. Carolina’s defense played well.

Welp when I fail today I guess I'll go a month plus without rain. Closing in on 3 weeks and all the rain in the extended has went poof. I wouldn't mind the dry in September if it didn't come with July temps. I hate summer with a passion, especially when it wont go away.

The 4th and 1 play call at the end was stupid. And like I said, the Panthers line can't hold anyone.
 
Unless something strange happens it looks like today will be the last 95+ day for much of the south until next June !

Absolutely right. On paper they should be good on that side of the ball, but real world results say otherwise.

I’ve cut at most , 10 times this summer, I guess that’s a positive of the drought! If I cut now, it’s just straw
