already 26 degrees here and still the wind is gusting to 30 mph

There's at least one winter since I moved here that never even got as cold as its gonna be tonight... :eek:
 
Idk if its TT or NAM's fault, but these maps are ridiculous. If you go look at the sfc precip maps, there is brief ZR that is kept in the western carolinas.

I'm just sayin', these maps need to be fixed. There was no snow to be found
 
Good idea to go ahead and edit the November event thread to include all of December too for all events that month be very little

I’ll be in Gatlinburg that weekend so it’ll probably be a “eastern side of the mountains only” event smh fml
 
Anybody with Weathermodels.com, Could you go to member 30/31ish and post its snow clown maps. Apparently it has snow all the way down to ATL. I even think it has snow down to Tuscaloosa

I'm to the point that when I'm on here and I see nothing but negative whamby'ish post in other threads I'm gonna start moving them, if it continues I'll just delete. And to be clear, posting factual comments based on modeling that shows negative results from what we want isn't the type of negative I'm speaking of.... y'all know. Dang it, it's like a cancer

Not in the budget this morning! This cold air is doing a number in the old Chevy though. Rough idle. Might be eating a pack of square cheese crackers on the side of I-85 here before long.

I know i'm new to these parts, but can someone explain the origin of the Weenie? I get the context, but how did it start?
