I think a cool experiment would be to artificially cool SST’s to see if we can actually control various teleconnections. You could start on a small scale as to not drastically destroy the natural order, but theoretically you could control every aspect of the weather.
I saw that movie. It didn’t end well.

The one thing I hate about Tennessee is the humidity in the summer. No way I could live any further south then where I live now. If possible I would prefer a climate such as Indianapolis, Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio. Somewhere that is likely to get at least two to three events of 2-4 inches of snow in a bad winter.
If I could I'd just move down to the Gulf coast and just forget about snow! But I can't tolerate the humidity down there. Tired of worrying about snow here and always being fringed in the Carolina's. And don't want to move north and have to deal with relentless cold. We used to have the perfect climate here. 4 seasons and guaranteed snowfall every year. Not so much anymore.

I have lived in Tennessee all my life... West Tennessee. I can remember back in the good ole days when we get 2 to 3 snows a winter, say from 1 to 4 inches.. those winters were considered mild to average winters then course I’m older than you and cd 2 play... just saying it wasn’t always like this

I have the solution , move to piedmont/foothills Virginia . Somewhere like Roanoke , Lynchburg , Charlottesville . Still get to be in the south and get relatively mild winters , with much higher snowfall chance and a nice spring warmup.

Everyone seems to forget Virginia !
