I had the gall to ask why GA wasn't focused on at all there and got flamed to hell by all the people in NC. I haven't been back there since.

You can see the evidence of this upcoming horrible winter on the gets. As long as the 2m temp anomaly is positive on the east slopes of the Canadian Rockies, the cold will be transient at best in the eastern US. When the trough is out west, we torch. Most of our “cold” air will be mild pacific air. I think this pattern will not break. It was prevalent all spring and summer, too. Winter is toast.
 
I was hoping that the cold push we had back in November wasn’t going to be the coldest temps of the season, but there is always a chance.

I had one of my teammates ask me this morning was I bringing in presents. I said, no. Are you bringing me a present? He laughed and said no. He said that new employees used to bring snacks in to the team after they were here for 90 days, but they don't do that anymore. I said, it seems like that's backwards. You need to bring me something and make me want to stay.

My guess is this is one of the reasons why the models look like poop in the extended.

It does really suck to see a mostly consolidated tPV rotting in the worst possible spot. Reminds me of Jan 07. If we start off January llike this it won't be pretty.

Whatever. I'm still going to get one snow this year of 6 inches or more, and a couple more of 2 to 3 inches.
 
Y'all are funny. Just this week Webber was talking about how good things look going into January, and others were talking about it looking more positive for winter storms than negative. And then today everyone is all doom and gloom, even a couple of the same folks that were "all in" for January. You should realize how the long range flips and flops all the time, and that things can go from ugly to a big winter storm in a week's time here. Just chill. Maybe take a Xanax.

Yeah I'm starting to get a little concerned about January since all modeling now wants to consolidate the tpv instead of elongating it into Canada. Plenty of time to go though and I'm not sure I'm all aboard that mjo wave just dying. We shall see
