That's fair. Generally February has been pretty warm till this week. Count me in as ready to move on to Spring. We think it's hard to get snow now, wait till close to March. Can't keep putting this time and energy into so much fail.

The way it starts snowing to the west on a diagonal line then moves east and keeps snowing on that line is already more than suspect

You mean under 24? I’ve learned my lesson…. I was even patient this time I waited till day 4.5 before declaring this one a definite Storm whether Sleet, ICE, Snow ect. I’ve never in my life seen a Storm go poof like this, this close to Gametime. And yes, it wasn’t just my area, If anyone should be pissed it’s Richmond, GSO they looked like a stone cold lock for 8-10” like 72hrs ago

I’ll never discount march snow. For some reason it kinda likes to snow here in march!!had several over last 10years maybe even five. I know it was in 2022
 
I need to to get to climo boys. Make this March Hail Mary work. No more weak sauce. Send a monster and if its 33 an rain, while Boone has roof collapses and avalanches. So be it. Roll the big dice, put the yahtzee dice up till next year.

Younger folks google yahtzee, old board game in 70s. Know your wondering what this old fool is typing.

Not ever happening again. If we get another big upper low like that one, it'll either go into VA or through southern GA into the Charleston area. For upstate SC and much of western NC to get a good snow again it'll take a system like we got in March 1993 to do it.

You can add December and February to that list for 75% of us.
 
I’m fine with keeping the cold around for a s long as possible. The heat and humidity is going to happen and I’d rather put it off for as long as I can. Keep the troughs a coming. As far as tracking anymore potential snow, I’ve all but checked out this year. 3 whiffs in a relatively below avg winter has did me in. At this point unless I look out my winter and see 4”+ sitting in my yard, I’m good on tracking for the rest of this season, but hope we keep the colder temps going for as long as we can
