Pattern Fab-February 2020 The dark age

EMC GEFS Plumes showing a steady increase over the past six runs for snow in KHSV on 7 Feb. This is the latest.
Side note, I can't seem to post links or images, all of the buttons are greyed out.

Euro looks interesting, Gefs shows this.

The cmc has the second piece of energy that the euro was keying on for the potential weekend system . Just depends on how much the western ridge can pump . The gfs does not have this FWIW , which isn’t much

Ive been kind of expecting that trend tbh lol ? it's nice to look at the GFS snow maps but I've never once viewed them as realistic

I need to vent a minute so people keep saying elsewhere the Euro has been bad(how much of that is because it shows 40 and rain though) but I would never write it off. If it was showing a foot of snow oh everyone would be riding it :rolleyes:

Latest GFS ensemble AO forecast is still going for +5 in about a week followed by a plunge:

Yup im cutting off my dead Bermuda today and putting out preemergent. This Februapril is awesome

And honestly models have had a tough time this year handling the +PNA and how amplified it’ll be so will be interesting to see if euro trends better for a more significant event for more people
 
Lol the tenn valley snow on the 00z euro is now a St. Louis storm on the 12z .
