This is about as classic as it gets right here for our winter storms in the SESpeaking of ice:
Gimme a SNOW accumulation now we had to of hit the jackpot with this one6 inches of sleet in GSP ?
I got excited until I look at H5 and saw how unrealistic that bomb near SE can is 
Temps in the mid 20s, I'd be happy with the 21-22 winter if that happened anything else would be a bonus

I’m not gonna lie I would love a good ice storm to just shut down my work for a few days.
Unfortunately for me I'd be expected to sleep at my work if that happened...
We could use some shortened wavelengths, more ridging around the northern part of the ridge axis and less on the southern (less SER), and that trough around SE can to be further SW, we’re trying to do just that , we have a lot of work to do tho with this look

A deep, cold overrunning/CAD is how you get the good storms in the upstate of SC-Charlotte
