Yeah while it’s extremely extremely unlikely, models are so bad to the point where things can sneak up on us

Ahh, the memories. I was in High school in Gastonia at the time, 13 inches of snow. Like most storms then not much warning. Woke up to thunder snow and 18 degrees. Don’t make ‘em like that much anymore!

Looks like the White Mountains and the Green Mountains of Vermont/New Hampshire are going to have a field day soon!!!!
We start out tonight with hot garbage 
Looks like icon has some light rain/snow (sfc temps in the upper 30s) 
Temps are just a tad to warm but someone would at least see snowflakes with that look, but it’s just the icon

You can see that energy in Canada trending west each run, with another shift west this run (energy almost off the map at the top

I think I'm more hopeful than most about this setup. The wave over the central US in your map clearly isn't going to work, but it's got this trailing piece that is more defined on the latest 00z run. I wonder if that could hold together for a minute while the northern stream piece dives in... maybe we could time something with that.

CMC gets our energy stuck under the ridge in Colorado, lol wtf, this is some major model spread
