Way colder than last night, I think last nights low was around 20f and I’m sitting at 15F right now probably looking at 12F as a low.

Right! My new rescue Doggy was running and as she tried to turn back towards me she spun out on some ice in the yard!! Haha... she was like wtf did I just do... love it

weatherundergound for Nashville went from less than an half an inch of snow a few hours ago to this: "Snow will taper off and end this morning but skies will remain cloudy this afternoon. High around 35F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph. Chance of snow 80%. 1 to 3 inches of snow expected."
Well I went from waking up to the it's a normal day after Christmas and now what to "having that feeling"....JOY JOY EXCITEMENT....In a matter of reading a few posts. LOL ??

I will not get sucked in...I will not get sucked in...I do feel TN and Na ga will do ok..its hard not to get excited but I'm gonna watch it today nonetheless. Living on the Lee equals maximum rain and minimal snow most of the time.

I'll eat my phone if that happens. Crazy how the 0z models have all trended to more moisture associated and staying with this clipper. That's good upstream and Tenn for sure
In case anyone thinks themself a weenie for noticing that radar looks better than models would have seemed to indicate, BMX has noticed too.

Forecast low was 19 and it's 13 now. Having had 1 measurable snow since 2014, a few flurries around here would be a big win.
I really think Atlanta up the 85 corridor get at minimum a period of flurries.

I am seeing returns from KFFC all the way back near the Mont Eagle area on I 24 NW of Chattanooga.. Too me this is very far away for snow returns so may indicate how much heavier the precip is over the modeling..
Got down to 19 here (and at the airport) so far this morning despite some clouds. Woke up not long ago to a notification on a SWS about light snow showers tonight from that clipper. Ngl, I haven’t been keeping up since Saturday so I thought this was DOA for us so I’m curious to see how this plays out this evening.
Edit: Even in a scenario where a lot of this dissipates, this is literally day and night between what the 12z HRRR is showing vs radar right now.
