CMC Widespread 2-4” from Charlotte to Boone...and some upstate counties.
The hrrr seems to show a weak warm nose at 850mb at clt during the event, but its very close

Models way off. Heavy snow over Tennessee going to pound the mountains. Other areas too likely to pick up a pretty snowfall Monday.

Moderate snow coming down in Maggie Valley, NC again. Radars do a terrible job at indicating whats overhead here.

The RAP looks similar. I assume that's mix between Asheboro and Durham. CC seems to be shifting east.

Well looks like a warm pocket at 925 mb kept us all rain. We hit the jackpot last year and this is how we pay for it I guess. Maybe next storm.

Nice big flakes here in Chatham County. Surface temps suffice to accumulate at 31 degrees.
Gotten over 1 inch, family member says it been snowing since 6:30 am here in kannapolis
Snowing and sleeting in downtown Raleigh. Was a rain sleet mix when I left the house. Friend reporting snow in north Raleigh.

Just as the event is unfolding and there are numerous reports of moderate to heavy snow..... the NAM backs way off. Lol models are useless now with an ULL, just sit back and see what happens.
