Still sort of worked something. Just a few adjustments to 12z honestly.
Even with some leading energy that spins up a SLP off the OBX, closer and stronger to the coast than 12z, 18z holds serve, minor differences and still a nice signal for a mid latitude cyclone riding the the eastern seaboard.

Last few frames are certainly where we want to be compared with those first 2. As long as we're still in the ballpark at this range (which we are and then some) I'm beyond content.
Classic areas get hit this time.

This run seems to have a much colder cold air push as well. We'll see what implications this has down the timeline.

Energy didn't dig as much, but still basically the same idea as 12z. An acceptable result to stave off panic a little longer.
Plus, the SE Canada vortex kicked out too quickly causing the wave to tilt positive too early, preventing a pure coastal storm.
that was actually intentional. i said it's not going to cut it 84 hours into the run to condition everyone to be happy with whatever we get.
(i was actually really unimpressed with the changes of ridging but misjudged how much a different it would make. turns out a super clipper gets the job done)

---- the first storm, it’s good and all, but it’s the energy incoming from the west after our airmass is in place. Like I said earlier, that’s a classic way to score 
It'll be interesting to see what the Christmas system behind this run given the 1st storm didn't dig quits as far south. It should open the door and prevent shearing it out/suppression.

Next storm is really trying, but western ridge not quite steep enough. Atlantic side looks good as blizzard is running up under the block. I'll take this look all day
