Herd immunity is an option, but it is still unclear as to whether or not that is possible with Covid. Next up to bat is a vaccine. But we all know the speed bumps, potholes, and red flags with that.

The coronobros are immune. The gityy-up of some tonight who havent posted in here in weeks is telling. Isnt but one way out this valley and thats to accept the fact it isnt going anywhere,your gonna eventually get it and hopefully be able to fend it off and get on with living. Science has no more answers than it did 6 months ago.Sounds like a sour prescription,but its reality unless your gonna hibernate for the next several years.

Vaccination is what will lead to herd immunity. I haven’t heard any evidence to say that herd immunity isn’t possible with covid. What’s the thought process there? Is it because there’s reinfection? Herd immunity protects people from flu every winter and we still have to be vaccinated yearly for that. I think we’ll get there eventually it’s just going to take a lot longer than we are all comfortable with.

It's a new virus that we're still learning about. The speed at which people can become reinfected is still unclear. We do know that it's extremely contagious and can have a lengthy period of shedding before symptoms appear. There's still a lot of learning going on, but the effectiveness of herd immunity isn't definitive.

My hope, and I think this is the best option for getting back to normal, is that the virus mutates predominantly into a state that produces no more sickness than a common cold. How fast that happens, or if it happens, is anyone's guess.

Eh, if we're going to go conspiracy theory, I can only see that something maaaaayyyyyyy be going on in the last two pictures.

Speaking of which, an update is coming at the next hour, but honestly I 100% expect a downplayment.

I know that's the meme, but I don't buy that as an explanation, unless there are orders from the leadership saying, you guys over here do not wear masks and you guys over here, you wear masks. Anecdotally, I know just about as many liberal friends have contracted Covid as conservative friends. I realize that's anecdotal, but it counts for something in my mind.

I agree. But with respects to elected officials, one side is know for ignoring the recommendations. It could be coincidence. But who knows?

If a non mask wearing conservative mind contracts Covid it’s “Karma”. On the other hand if a mask wearing liberal contracts Covid it’s “happenstance” and also most likely will be blamed on those around them who were not wearing their mask.

Goofy world we’re living in.

Some of the things that I'm reading here and on another website makes me think that Trump knew he had COVID for a few days (longer than late Thursday night) and they were going to try to cover it up until Hope Hicks' test leaked.

Doctor said he had been positive for 72 hours. He could have easily misspoke. But who knows?
