I told my wife I wanted her to buy two-weeks worth of non-perishable foods (not as a panic but just in case, plus she has a chronic kidney disease, so she might be more susceptible than others). She came home with $500 worth of groceries. Ouch! If nothing else, we will eat well.

Just got 130 dollars worth of groceries yesterday on top of the 207$ Worth of groceries I got a week ago just in case, if this somehow fizzles out, then that’s a lot of food for the next few months

On top of that the gloves if touch something would have to be changed. Endless cycle. I’m just trying to figure out where he is thinking all the money is coming from to supply all these to everyone. I guess fire up the money printer or copier.

I think most Americans can afford a few months worth of gloves and masks. Maybe I'm wrong though... Medical masks are typically 25 cents each.

My wife just grabbed a month’s worth. It feels crazy buying to avoid the panic and not the virus.

Only 500 rounds! Ha Ha...….

Dude. That’s on top of the 5,000+ I already have. Along with 5,000 rounds of .223/5.56, 500 rounds of SS109 in 5.56, 2,000 of .40 S&W hardball, 220 of .40 S&W hollow point, 4,000 of 9mm hardball, 300+ of 9mm hollow point, 250 of .38 Special hollow point, 100 of .357 Sig hollow point, 600 of .357 Sig hard ball, 313 .12 gauge 6 shot, 50 of .12 slugs, 50 of .12 gauge 00 buck, 3,750 of .22 long rifle, 1,000 .45 hardball, and 200 of .45 hollow points. At least looking at my computer and the updated Excel spreadsheet that’s what I have.

Exactly. I’m going to the store today just because of the panic and nothing being left that I need. I’m not worried about the virus at all really.

23,753 rounds of ammo. If my spreadsheet is correct. I hope it is. Took a long time to initially create that damn thing.

Let’s go together. Kit up and I’ll meet you at Crabtree Valley Mall. I want to see what nice toys your uncle let you retire with.

The good thing is my wife and I talked about doing this before the virus was even a thought. It saves a pile of money buying in advance over running to the local Pig or DG when you need something for dinner.

My wife doesnt think we need any supplies and then she asks "do I have enough rounds for my 9mm? If not academy sports has some on sale we should buy more ammo"
I guess this goes without saying but she's a keeper.

Not sure who seen the presser with gov Kemp but apparently georgia can only do 50 test a day and Hope's to be able to reach 100 next week

The rate one would go thru masks and gloves. One box would not make it past a week. Trust me I’m in the field that provides them. Your talking average of $7 a box for 50 pairs. That’s the average glove. So take that times 4 members in a family.
4x7=28 weekly just in gloves.

Exactly, I'm not saying many of the ideas are bad it's just a logistical and economic nightmare to try to implement.

That is what I’m saying. The reaction of these govts. will be the end if they are not careful. I understand trying to save people especially elders but this could end up killing us all if people and places are not back to work soon. So is it worth sacrificing the future for our kids for the elders maybe the question to be answered. Hopefully we are not going to have to answer that.

Is New Rochelle the first city to actually be locked down and quarantined?
I'm working and get updates but don't have time to research until tonight.

Saw this posted elsewhere. Don’t know how reliable it is.

But I'd only use the gloves and kits when I leave the house which wouldn't be often. I'd only need them when going to get essentials. Never mind I guess, I'd rather have them than not have them. Wish there was an emphasis on on producing more.

It also why I couldn't purchase any more ammo right now, they're all out of stock.... dang it

LOL. It takes a while to get to the point I’m at. I’m gonna say probably six years? Two separate safes. One for ammo and one for weapons. Both permanently mounted and the only way to unmount them is to unlock the safes and do it that way.

UGA is suspending classes, telling students not to return from Spring Break (classes were supposed to resume on Monday) and to stay away from campus till 3/29.

EDIT: Actually it's all University System of Georgia colleges, not just UGA...
