Without knowing much about your governor, I'm pretty sure he'll cave in and issue an order very soon. Every bordering state to SC has already. That alone will put enormous pressure on him to fall in line.

Yep, I think it would take Georgia going to complete, total dumpster fire bad with this over the next few weeks to wreck his chances of serving both terms. Specifically to effect much of his vote, really hurt the rural areas by spreading there and becoming a huge problem because of those hospitals not being as good as Emory/AUMC/etc (and if this scenario were to happen, there will be finger pointing at him). Otherwise he highly likely wins another close election when it's time for it in 2022.
It didn't take long for my dad to pretty much go "Yeah that's cute" about the shelter in place order btw (for a totally on topic deal). I somehow got it to where we're going to go out again on Friday just to go to a nature area (again in SC, although a different deal), and I asked him about it and he reaffirmed that we're going and feels that it's unenforceable. We do have an alibi (which is a small shopping trip) but I definitely wouldn't be comfortable doing these things on my own.
I’m pretty sure a good portion of our testing as a nation has been healthcare workers alone. That’s probably a reason why there are so many negative tests.

He was only 52. I remember Fountains of Wayne, and from reading the article apparently he did some musicals and work for tv shows since then. Obviously a very talented individual.

Bertie resident first in region to die from COVID-19
A Bertie County resident has died from COVID-19, the first death in the region and the 14th in the state as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.
See, I want more of this. I understand that a lot of us vary politically but we are still in this together. America isn't perfect, by any means. But we can prove the rest of the world wrong. Let's eradicate this POS virus, once and for all.

The US surpassed 1,000 deaths (and counting) today. That’s probably going to be normal for a while now as the death toll racks up.

Went to Kroger today. Place was close to fully stocked. Hell they even had very limited toilet paper. Definitely no shortage of things here.
