Daughter still has a fever of 102.9°. Been giving an alternating dose of Acetaminophen and Ibuprofen every four hours. Highest we’ve seen is 103.4°. Middle daughter says she has a headache and dizziness with feeling short of breath. Listened to her lungs and took her SAT. SAT is 95% and lungs are clear bi-laterally and apically. Gotta keep an eye on them.

Man that would be great. I've got other friends in the same boat as me not knowing what the sickness was that went through here.
Myself included.. I have a feeling there are many many who have already had it. In Feb I had all the symptoms and was tested negative for flu. I was diagnosed with viral pneumonia/bronchitis. It was a 2 week ordeal, and still have a little cough.

Prayers and thoughts sir continue. One thing I did read is ibuprofen may make symptoms worse if it is the virus.

Here's the study, and the relevant section:

I'll be glad to set it up if some folks want to contribute links ...

This thread has good data links interspersed between tweets and comments; if we could get the credible links isolated in one place or in a separate thread, I'll get it into Wiki ... almost like a quick reference stock market ticker, I'm thinking.

Anyone with "shelter time" want to assemble them you can PM me with a batch (not a bunch of individual PMs please) and I'll set up a Wiki page, or if someone is inclined, start a new thread (better IMHO) and the thread will be imported into Wiki.

My employer was told to let everyone clock in up to 15mins early so everyone was not at the time clock together. Um I will not.

PRAYERS UP BROTHER!

Has there been a study on if the majority of US workers are essential? I mean when I think of it, most low paying rural workers are grocery store, gas station, police, healthcare, warehouse, drive through, etc. I would love to see a statistic on how many are essential per County to see if that’s too many causing all of these corona cases. Where do we draw the line on having too many essentials traveling?

And is it fair that the upper middle class and rich are largely deemed nonessential because of their success and or career?

NC state sees triple digit increase in one day. Stone Mountain State Park now closed in Wilkes due to too many people flooding the mountain areas.

And is it fair that the upper middle class and rich are largely deemed nonessential because of their success and or career?

When Athens-Clarke County passed their shelter in place ordinance last week, they included accountancy firms & income tax services as being "essential" businesses.

I'd rather not be "essential" right now and just stay put at home but people still need to file taxes, so...

I'm following on Twitter an account of the NC Council of State meeting with Gov. Cooper. It was just stated that of the 429 cases in NC, there are 29 hospitalizations currently.

U.S. Surgeon General Jerome Adams also warned Monday that the pandemic is nowhere close to being over.

“I want America to understand this week, it's going to get bad. We really need to come together as a nation,” Adams said. “We really, really need everyone to stay at home.”

NC cases are spiking we need to lock her down NOW. Today was an awful trend to date.

A novice could see this spreading out of the Charlotte metro region to the north and cases are spreading out of Raleigh too. Into rural areas.

Alabama Heath director or whatever his title is says we have 196 cases with 8-10 hospitalized.

So far the rural areas are doing well infection wise(shocker) but also CFR wise which is very interesting.

Amateur hour through and through. This is what has been feared for 100 years. A fast moving hard to control virus......
And this one isnt even that deadly........imagine this with a 50% fatality rate. It would have wrecked human civilization IMO.

I don’t think it would take that. A 3-5% CFR virus like this except across all age ranges and it’s mayhem. Shoot throw in a small yield nuclear warhead(Sum of All Fears like) would be devastating. We(myself) are just too spoiled and used to having things perfect and our politicians too useless.

When this is all done, it needs to be read every once and a while by all of us. It will not take much to drive our world into complete disaster and we have to change how we view our lives, resources and manufacturing.

NC COVID-19 update at 2 this afternoon. No mention of the Governor being present, just public health and emergency management officials. There is a lot of pressure on the Governor to lock it down.

It he isn't present then you can rest assured that there will be no "earth shattering" news, including no mention of shelter in place...

I can't find it now. It was a reporter with the News and Observer who was relaying the info.
Gotcha, I'll find it then.... I was just wondering because I couldn't find a Council of State twitter feed. Thanks
