My paper has 3 phone numbers if the police want to verify. My boss said this is IF I get pulled over but didn’t say anything about a lockdown. I mean, what’s the point in requiring this emergency documentation if someone was to say they were just going to the grocery store?

Prefer to be discreet but I work in transportation and ship VERY FEW things that people would even need in a crisis like this. Maybe we are gonna double down on emergency supplies only idk but sure haven’t yet.

Those contingent plans are always in place but in case DC was eviscerated by nuclear attack. This is a virus with about a 1% mortality rate in this country. The chance that the entire govt would be incapacitated by this is absurd sensationalistic reporting and has no place in a time like this. We are dealing with a pandemic not the end of days.

My shift is odd hours, not the typical 9 to 5, so it’s possible NC will go with restricting certain hours to leave your home.

Your employer will be contact with local authorities in your area to notify them about their business. I just found out today and was NOT planning to be an emergency worker of any sort.
 
How they expect me to ship something when I don’t have any and 99% of our stuff is CHINA and not getting anymore? Money is money tho I will report to work.
 
On the Georgia update it shows a total of 3616 tests and 555 cases, seems Georgia is sticking with testing specific cases, because you imagine by now, more test kits would be available. I understand not everyone should be tested, but with no serious statewide restrictions here, how many positive cases are still congregating.

6 new deaths in 24 hours. Unfortunately that number is going to climb while so many go about their normal business. My frustration is mostly with the Governor who said shutting things down is what communists countries do. SMH

Regardless of Democrat or Republican, voters in Georgia wont forget his failing to lead when he needs to.

1000's probably. Imagine where we could be in 10-14 days if nothing changes soon.
 
Georgia will turn into New York if governor doesn’t lock things down soon. Just my 2cents

went from 1T to now 2T. Probably need more than that. Not political I hope but need helicopter money (cash checks) with expanded unemployment plans. Oh man....

The democrats don’t want to mail everyone checks . They want to put all the money into unemployment so that people receive weekly checks . Instead one in April and one on May . The people that get let go from their jobs would actually benefit more going that route as they would have steady income . I’m a republican, this shouldn’t be political at all . It should be what makes the most sense. without reading what their plan actually says , on the surface the democratic plan makes more sense vs mailing everyone a check

almost positive it will be a combo of both. Both sides better give in a little and get it done now. There will be an insurrection if a plan doesn’t happen NOW. They are starting to realize this is bigger than they ever thought possible at the start.

As long as it goes to the people that lost jobs and not the people that just depend on the checks and don’t want to actually work. I think that’s smart.
