Oh good grief. Talk about hyperbole. If there is a national lockdown then that is checkmate for the US in my opinion

You realize that some of these people that own these business or people living paycheck to paycheck are not going to be able to afford food or shelter? They are going to be just as bad offSmall businesses are already being affected as well as people who live paycheck to paycheck. Would you rather have the hospitals at capacity? Would you rather see 100,000+ people die? Sorry, the positives from a nationwide lockdown outweigh the negatives. There is just no argument. The economy will eventually recover. Dead people can't.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion but if you think 100,000 compared to millions losing their jobs and having civil unrest is worth the sacrifice. No way I agree.Small businesses are already being affected as well as people who live paycheck to paycheck. Would you rather have the hospitals at capacity? Would you rather see 100,000+ people die? Rumors from a police officer I know is more than likely in 72 hours or less all non essential businesses in GA will be forced to close. Only grocery, pharmacy and doctors offices will be open.
You have much more faith in govt than I do. Did you see this mess we’re already in? Did you see the stock market going this low already? Hopefully your blinders are rightOh good grief. Talk about hyperbole.

I hope you’re right because my wife is not working for the next two weeks and not getting paid so if the government doesn’t help would you be willing to send me some money for her?Dude, sorry life is more valuable than anything else. Again with the hyperbole. IF the government can agree on some sort of economic stimulus package, millions won't lose their jobs and I hate to say, this might be one of these instances where the US government might need to enact Martial Law.

I’m not saying it’s the into America but it definitely will change the landscape. Since you saw how this was going to happen from a mile away what is going to happen from here on out?Yeah, I could see this from a mile away. Now did they do enough in time to get ahead of it now or were they too reactionary? If the former, then people will complain they did too much but better that than saying we didn't do enough in the end. Saying this is going to be the end of the US is just ridiculous.
Wife found tp at food lion. Max you can buy is two six packs.
Fact I heard:
Did yall know avg person uses 100 rolls of tp per year. 300million x 100. Big buisness
People like you are going to complain that the government did too much or not enough depending if you go broke or know someone who gets very sick. That is what's going to happen.I’m not saying it’s the into America but it definitely will change the landscape. I was unemployed for a while last summer, and the monthly check would have almost made a dent in the monthly insurance premium I would have had to pay for family coverage. Oh, and the duration of unemployment was quite short. You do know unemployed people can get unemployment right?

Too many still aren't listening. This is a national emergency and it's not going away just because it has to or the economy will suffer
Marshal law is trending #7 on Twitter

Yep this is a constantly moving target and you have to know given the lack of testing + incubation period + many who do not want to heed government advice and quarantine that total lockdown needs to be implemented asap because the total number of observed cases thus far is weeks behind realityI put the odds of a lockdown this week at about 90%. How many times are we going to have to watch "the officials" play catch-up before we trust our own good sense about how things are going to play out?
Of course they're going to deny a lockdown until they announce it. And they're going to announce it at some point.
I am not one of those that’s are not going to complain because I’m a hard-working individual. All I’m saying is there is no way the government can take care of everyone and everything by bailing them outPeople like you are going to complain that the government did too much or not enough depending if you go broke or know someone who gets very sick. It’s going away when 90s and humidity kills it off naturally. Then it probably re-emerge in October/November

We can try to brush it aside, but the impacts to the US economy are going to be widespread and devastating. It's going to take a very long time for many individuals to get back on their feet, unless government steps up in a very big way. Many businesses will never recover.
this is a dangerous assumption. The heat and humidity may slow down the spread but there isn’t any credible evidence that heat and humidity will stop this virus. It’s extremely contagious.
