Early mortality rates for coronavirus are likely misleading, experts say

It's possible that COVID-19 isn’t as fatal as most people think.

All this doom and gloom and oh where are all the test kits and everything else I mean really people; get a grip.

The FLU, yes the FLU, kills way more people.

If this proves to be a true killer pandemic disease then I apologize right now; however it doesn't appear to be so and there's just a bunch of b.s. being thrown around.

I understand the skepticism about information from China but now Italy is showing very similar results. If we get a widespread outbreak in this country it will make the flu look like a cold.

At least 14,000 people have died and 250,000 have already been hospitalized during the 2019-2020 flu season, according to estimates from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.Feb 21, 2020

Merlefest in Wilkesboro has announced additional hand sanitizer stations BUT will likely not shutdown the international festival as it brings in a lot of $$$. Coming April folks check it out.

You do understand why this means nothing concerning coronavirus right? There is no point comparing the two until corona has infected a equal number of Americans as the flu has.....at that point you can do a valid comparison until then this is just misinformation meant to downplay coronavirus.

I was giving him the up to date stats. You’re right we shouldn’t be comparing the 2 but some people are. Some are saying C-19 is worse. As of right now it’s not and doesn’t look like it will be as bad as the flu outbreaks of 57 or 68 or 18. Just think if social media was around back then.

Find me one case of the flu infecting a nursing home as the covid-19 has in Washington state. We are talking 15 dead and 100 people infected in just 2 weeks. Find me one example of the flu doing that.
