The Administartion has some time ago devied out a 52 page plan for coronovirus per NY govt health official. She was being interviewed on radio. Step 1 was to block folks coming from countries with outbreaks. Step 2 identify,isolate cases here locally,quarentine. Step 3,which is where they are at now is to limit social gatherings. Probably hear about this tonight at 630 press conference
Anyone see this govt doc ,share link. I aint quit connected enough to the govt to have received my copy lol. Be interested to read.
She said they have followed it lock step.
 
Actually is spreads much easier and faster. For people over 60 the death rate is higher from what I see. Is it hyped too much? I think way to early to say that. Plus sure seems other countries are being aggressive in trying to contain it for something that is just another flu. Tell that to everyone that has lost someone to it. Honestly I’m sick of hearing it’s just like the flu. It’s NOT!

Maybe you will be right Bird. You sure seem to have an attitude of nothing to see here with your posts. Maybe this time and next time there is nothing to see here but one time it will not be so nothing to see here.

This is about as believable as the world being flat. Complete false information that contributes nothing positive to the situation.
 
The self important attitude of Americans that think this virus has anything to do with the election is laughable. Italy,south Korea, and all the other countries that are being affected by this pandemic are acting to protect their citizens not hurt Trump or Biden or any politician
 
Curious what do we know of Australia cases? It’s summer there right?

And how do you propose that should have been accomplished? Developing an accurate test kit for a novel virus isn't done at the drop of a hat. The virus wasn't isolated until Jan. 7th and gene sequencing data - necessary for the development of diagnostic kits - wasn't publicly released by China until Jan. 12th (censorship by the Beijing government didn't help matters). CDC began developing kits soon after, but it was nearly impossible for them to have had a working kit developed and ready for distribution by the time the first case appeared in the US nine days later.

The Aussie government is reporting 80 confirmed cases and 3 deaths as of today. They say that 15 of the initial cases in Australia "all had a direct or indirect travel history to Wuhan, China".

So why could every other developed nation do it faster?

Payroll taxes should have been reduced for lower income workers long ago - they are the most regressive part of our income tax system.
 
Wish i had linked the article but readwhere it stays airborne for 30 minutes and can travel 14. Twice the recommended spacing of 6 feet from infected persons.
