Misc Cold Season Complaining

So, since the snow chances look bleak as of now to enjoy snow for a few days, we will do what we always do. We go to where the snow is. So like @Brent , who went to Breck earlier this winter, the wifey and I are heading to Jackson, WY next week and working our way over to Bozeman. I will be good until next winter! It's a good excuse to get away for a few days!

I like it. Keep Feb somewhat cold, otherwise it screws up turkey season in my neck of the woods. Last few years Feb has been warm and you have toms chasing hens in early-mid march, no bueno.
 
It would only be fittingly hilarious that over the next two weeks we get 32.5 degree Rain….. then The SE ridge not only relaxes , but it full on goes to sleep and we Miss to the south again

Looks like I go below 50 next Monday morning. That 47 will be refreshing for mid(ish) May. Probably in a couple of weeks we'll be in the 80s and 90s, I've already got my Memorial Day plans on the lake solidified. Hope everyone is not being too bothered by the skeeters and pollen!

It’s a pattern where you can get 3” of rain on a Monday and 8” of heavy wet snow on Wednesday night
 
Feels like I was the only one saying Mid ATL - NE hit(s) and a stronger SE ridge situation well in advance (week 1/2+ ago) while people said GFS was wrong/AIFS right and all that stuff. The only thing I did say Wintry, is that the 9th-15th I had expected a storm to be back on the models for that time frame.

Anyways, the point is not to say "i was right", the point is can we please stop passive aggressively calling people out who don't think snow?

Way too early up here. Tried too many times to get an early start and failed every time. As soon as I put my seedlings out, they died .... ground too cold ... shocked them. Tomatoes just would not grow any at all, had to cover them up a lot. Not worth the trouble, we have to wait until at least mid-April in my neck of the woods.

Yea I start Tomatoes from scratch in the house mid-late Feb / Transplant outside late April. I planted Golden Delicious Potatoes last year on March 1st ( early/ usually wait till mid March)). By 1st week of June we dug 150 picture perfect potatoes out of Ground.

You are definitely better off waiting until it’s warm enough for them to grow. I have been growing heirloom tomatoes for about 15yrs to sell and have learned the early planting rarely does as good as the ones planted when it’s warm. Same with starting seeds, they grow so much faster when it’s warm

Wemby O 5.5 1st qtr Pts

Id also look at some C Paul props.... his entire family will be at the game bc hes from Winston, you could make a positive correlation there probably. No Hornets lines out for now But if the put KNECHT Anywhere around 11.5 Points id go over. Ive got him at 13 and 29 min played

SA is -3.5 In +/- in the last 15 games that theyve had 1 or less days rest between games... as well 3pt shooting drops to 32% during this segment. Possible team total under if its around 120.5

For me it seems a lil risky taking Melo o24.5. I think he plays but for how long? Also heard some recent news about the Hornets trying to shop around and trading him. That coupled with the Allstar snub might give him reason to go out there tonight and put on a show against Wemby. After all, the entire roster is injured and they just traded their big center to the Lakers. It’s Lamelo vs the Spurs tonight if he plays

What do you think about Wemby u12.5 rebounds. I noticed he rarely goes over that number but will it be different tonight against a smaller Charlotte team? 🤷‍♂️

Fox is atleast respectable on D. Wemby should get to 13 imo idk if id take it but ive got him at 12 on the money. Thing is, its gonna be hard to evaluate SAS until we get a few weeks with fox and how his numbers go into their efficiency good or bad. That after 1 day or less rest is stupid , its like the Stat this year in NFL up until like week 15 ANY team that played DET failed to cover the following week as a fav. It was stone cold money for weeks
