I saw that. That is terrible. I don't even know why the Lakers wanted him so badly that they sent out more assets than they did for Luka. The dude can't stay on the court. It's clear that he's always going to be hurt.Ik this isn’t the sports thread but no one ever reads that anyway…. For the Sports ppl in here did yall see Lakers sent Mark Williams back ? Lmao… he failed his physical , but wait there’s more, not even for issues we knew about dude has injuries we haven’t even found out about yet. Hornets brass knew he’d fail apparently and tried to pull one over on The Golden child franchise of the league. We will never get the #1 Pick now if Silver can help it

The trade is so bad that fans are protesting it on the streets at the stadium.I saw that. That is terrible. I don't even know why the Lakers wanted him so badly that they sent out more assets than they did for Luka. The dude can't stay on the court. It's clear that he's always going to be hurt.
And AD went out halfway through his debut game, after being sidelined with an injury previously. Mavs are going to have to deal with that as long as he's with them.

I’m glad I went up to Wintergreen mid-January. It actually rained a little the morning I went but otherwise the conditions were amazing since it had been very cold for the three weeks leading up to it with tons of real snow, especially compared to the last time I went skiing at Sugar a couple years ago when it was slushy in the 60s with bare spots everywhere, hah! Although in that case there weren’t a lot of skiers in the horrendous conditions, which made it tolerable.I’ll give it til the end of the week but prob gonna have to cancel my ski trip. I’m not driving up there to get rained on all weekend.
Focused on VA. Western facing slopes in WNC should do ok on the front end with some trace amounts due east into most of northern NC
The good pattern will now arrive in late March / early April, just in time for some classic track Miller A rainstorms.Dam I looked on here Friday and it sounded like a great pattern setting up after the 20th...did that go poof?
I am blown away to brother. I really am. February just keeps getting warmer every year. Just mind blowing that February is the new April-May around here now.Fellas; today's high/low for GSP was 80/60 (both daily records). That is the average for mid-late May. The average of the high and low are 25 degrees above the current normal for this date. For the first 9 days of Feb, there have been no freezes, only one high below 64 degrees and 2 days reaching at least 80. The average has now reached +15 degrees for the month with multiple daily high and low high records broken. Looking back on the winter, this seems like the most impressive stretch for my area. Certainly the gulf/coastal storm will be memorable for those folks, but for my area this Feb stands out as more impressive than the fairly typical strong Jan front, where no records were even broken. We haven't really had much to cheer for in Feb over the past 10 years or so, and each one seems warmer than the last, but I am truly in shock at what the first 9 days have looked like. I know we have some cooler weather coming but this has really blown my mind.
It's very expected for warmth in February with the la nina. Maybe not 80° warmth but it's usually this way in February la ninas and that's why it has been the last few years.I am blown away to brother. I really am. Having Low Temps warmer than your Average High is just ridiculous. It's very expected for warmth in February with the la nina. Maybe not 80° warmth but it's usually this way in February la ninas and that's why it has been the last few years.
Happens every year but I agreeHaving Low Temps warmer than your Average High is just ridiculous.
At least for GSP, I looked up Feb 89 and it wasn't even close to the first 9 days for this year. 2 days with a high of 77 but also days well below average. The 2 80 degee days were the earliest such days in Feb ever, with the 81 tying the all time monthly record. This has been a truly historic stretch for my area; just not in a way I like.Seems like every time I bring up February warmth, my parents bring up the fact they were outside for wedding pictures or something involving their wedding 31 years ago because of warmth in this month (and I've explored 1989 for the heck of it due to talk about it being an analogue and found that it was mid 80's early that month as well).
I'm not for sure as I haven't focused on the weather quite as much anymore, but I THINK the deal here is that we're getting beyond past due for a big winter storm to occur in February in the interior SE south of I-40.
I just check in once or twice a day now just to see if there’s any momentum. There’s not.I know some guys in the main thread are trying to be positive and look for potential but it seems like we're just chasing moving rainbows. The mid to long range looks have been good the whole month and it has been a dumpster fire. Remember when we were getting excited about this?
I havd no hope that anything we see going forward will actually pan out.
Another graph courtesy of B Rad! Paints a grim picture. Since 2012 the 1st 9 days of Feb we can't even touch the 40 degree average mark. Something that was oh so common all throughout record keeping even in the warmer stretches you'd get brutally cold early Februarys every couple years. You simply can't keep torching away what is one of the snowiest months historically every year and not expect snowfall averages to plummet. Just sad what we're dealing with nowI know some guys in the main thread are trying to be positive and look for potential but it seems like we're just chasing moving rainbows.
