I'm a lean to it being to our north but I'm not sure it's a hill I'd die on. The low out front and where the ridge in the west is set up behind it gives it some SE trend properties

It looks like a quick, run-of-the-mill winter cold snap and then a quick warm up on the 12Z GFS. Not buying the extreme cold looks at all.

And in 2017 I can remember 6 hours before the storm came I was supposed to get 6+ and got a backend dusting. I’m cooked. Cautiously pessimistic about it all. But this time will be different I’m sure.. Prove me wrong, weather gods. I’m begging you

18z GFS looks rather seasonal to above average out to 222 hours. I'm not buying the cold pattern until all major global models show it, not just the Euro.

Me and you both are about 15-20 miles too far south for real snow since 2014. Lately you need to be from Pickens, across the GSP area, over to Gaffney. Anderson, Fountain Inn, Jonesville and Woodruff have not been getting anything but scraps from the bigger storms.
