Sure Iām sure thatās happened. What I am saying is in recent years all the cold has ended up dropping out that way and giving them winter storms while we get rain. But I guess that didnāt fit the narrative today.

I guess not
It was cloudy today therefore it must be cloudy tomorrow
-4 is ballinā. Been I while since I could play to that standard. My lowest 18 hole score is 68. That was nearly 8 years ago

I will say our Christmas torch is now 55 degrees... There was talk of 70 last week(we've been into the 70s on Christmas before just fwiw)

I have friends in Houston and I was so damn salty they saw a white Christmas before I did

New Orleans had its first White Christmas in 50 years. Somehow I donāt remember Atlanta getting much snow from that storm.
I believe it stayed pretty far south and then redeveloped off the Carolina coast. Most guidance kept it offshore until about 24 hours out if I recall.

I believe parts of Indiana got 2 feet of snow. Not sure if that was part of the same system.

Honestly yeah I don't even care about trying to beat last year on the cold or whatever people are talking about I just want to break this cycle of how every storm has failed to meet expectations since 2022. Just once.

I got a Tee time Dec 26th high noon. Euro and GFS are dry with a high temp 50. Canadian stays 40s with a chance of shower. Anyone trying to squeeze 18 before the Cold roars in and Hollidays end. 26th is doable as of right now.
Playing Mike strantz Tot Hill Farm. He has awesome golf course designs. Tot Hill was voted 7th hardest course to play by Golf Digest. Its beatifull coarse , uwharrie mtns make you feel like your in NW NC playing. I use to take kids sleigh riding on driving range. Major drop, best hill to ride a sled in central NC.

Past 3 events the cold is centered over the Ohio Valley...with the ridge pulling back into the GOA it yanks the cold west centered over KS/MO. We need some NAO magic for sure...but last winter we saw what happened and things look similar.
But good news...it won't be warm and that's enough for me. Give me all the cold nights we can get.

Yeap a dump west of the mountains won't do us any favors for the Southeast folks.
We do need to figure out how to not dump all the cold out West. Not completely sure why we keep doing that over the last few Winters. Luckily the EPS is a better look for us.
