Ah I was looking at the 12km NAM
Looks good for the Charlotte area up through Greensboro.
Snow belt moved to the gulf and Southeast Atlantic coasts. Inverse effects of a disturbed climate. Don't overthink it. It is what it isI can't believe how hard it is to get precip in the foothills when it's cold enough for snow. I've looked at all these past events, and it looks like there's plenty of snow here. But every one this year has almost 0 qpf.
The cold has just been overpowering bullying everything to the coast. I guess? It's the only thing I see happening every time. etc..... #patheticI can't believe how hard it is to get precip in the foothills when it's cold enough for snow. Yep. When we wake up it'll be why is the radar hole over me!We are now entering the radar/satellite hallucination phase.
In all seriousness, do you think you could drop enough silver iodide in a gulf low to change the course of winter weather history? I tend to think you couldThose hurricane hunters that flew in were not gathering data ..... they were cloud seeding.
You might have just witnessed it.... Maybe I am being stupid, but "Occam's razor" may apply. Would be funny if this thing explodes on radar. In all seriousness, do you think you could drop enough silver iodide in a gulf low to change the course of winter weather history? I tend to think you could
I think we will all be happy when this storm is over and ready for spring to be here.
I would honestly rather have 33 and rain and know it’s coming, than have a storm like this try everything it can to rug pull you every step of the way.
Of course it isn’t over yet, but man this has been to watch even from afar from a multitude of angles (forecasting being among them).
