Nah they will, Raleigh always Screws up and Fumbles…. Itl come here too. Just wait Tomm runs will he fantastic for them prolly go up to 8-12” , then around Noon Weds “omg noooo I’m already mixing” it happens every time just sit back and enjoy the show for us western ppl. I mean I hope it works out everywhere but Mayock NC, I hope that little podunk village rains and 32.3

Still too early to know for sure if this dry thing is real but it would be objectively funny for Charlotte to this year be:

Too far southeast for one storm, too far northwest for the next storm, and finally too far southwest for this one. Getting like a dusting-0.5" each time.

Just one short of completing the snow-suckitude collection

One day, not today, not Weds but one Day the Empire that houses the Frosty’s and Snowman’s of the world The NC Foothills and Western Piedmont will rise to power once more. Whether by CAD glory , or Triple Barrel Phased Gulf Bowling Ball it’s coming, oh yes….. our day is coming once more my friends. Enjoy your time in the sun (Snow) my far eastern Brethren and quite frankly you deserve it, I can agree there. May you all Climb mountains of white powder This Time Weds night and close your eyes and if for only a second not know if you’re in Mayock NC or The peaks of Everest.

The area from all of upstate SC through the Charlotte area and up through the NC foothills will never see 3+ inches of snow in one event again. You can take that to the bank.

No offense, but the Climo Of Jonesville SC is most definitely different than The Western Piedmont/ Foothills. I agree, we’re down but after doing that little test @SD put out earlier I’m literally just a spoiled baby. 6 (6”+) seasons in 11yrs and that’s with a 5” and 2 Zeros. So yea…. We are just taking a break. Tbh these dudes down there probably do get the shaft 95/100 storms and see CAD and immediately know they’re done. So yea, it’s just a pattern we’ve been in with the positive trough garbage, it will change back. One day we will see the big Jacked up Negative Tilts again… sure we will have to sit through some Apps runners but it will feel like home again

i did too but tbh i genuinely thought i WAS in the banter thread when i saw the bird map and thus responded in kind hahaha. given that i replied with a meme and it was actually the main thread, 100% deserved to have the post deleted

Two words. Global warming. That is why we are done because once the pattern ever changes back it'll be too warm for snow below about 3000 feet.

Yea I saw it. You asked if you were in the blue or purple area. Let's go to the map to see if we can find out through the madness.

There appears to be some script on the blue line which might be Raleigh? If so, you are safely in the blue. Nice!

There is a lot of other script on this map. None of it appears in the center of the state but on the outskirts. Charlotte doesn't appear to exist. The Triad has been replaced by a great forest. Outer banks are gone.

Those can add up quick… I’ve said it 100x I’m sure ppl are sick of it, but Feb 14… I was at 9” and pissed off bc my point forecast had been 12-16” but sleet cut in overnight. Well that ULL started back around Kings mountain and pivoted NNE and in like 3hrs went from 9-13” to finish…. Frosty got like 2 feet , Statesville got 18” bc of that extra 2-3hrs in that Deform

See Jimmy, this is why 99.9 % of the "winter storms" we have end up triggering me. I've got to be an absolute idiot to do this hobby.
