Maybe you should cut your grass shorter ... problem solved.I think the big thing for me is that I haven't had a storm that actually covers the tips of the grass blades in the yard since 2015. I think that's usually around 3" of snow. To me, that's a big marker of a decent snow since after you get all the grass tips topped, there's a decreasing marginal value to additional snow, since it's just a thicker blanket at that point. Everything is covered either way. Don't get me wrong, I would rather have 6" of snow than 3", but getting to 3" would be lovely. I don't think our January 2022 2-2.5" even topped the blades.
