Misc Cold Season Complaining

If i have to sit here and watch some of the biggest complainers get another massive snow while it rains this will be my last event here
The biggest complainers are in the upstate by far. You certainly don't have to worry about us getting a massive snow. But I'm with you in this being the last one. Seen all the disappointment I can handle this year.

What, haven't you heard we've had more than our fair share of snow?

Some of these people are acting like C / E NC have been raking in the snow the late few years. Are they living in a parallel universe or something?
IK I put my foot in my mouth the other day and apologized, it just seems that NE NC area not so much Raleigh has lived in the jackpot since 2021 when all this flat / progressive trough bs started. IDK how they actually verified and maybe I just drink too much but yea. Im sorry , Roanoke Rapids shouldnt jackpot more than Frosty or Pakckfan98 is all I meant

Idk, the immediate and areas around the sounds on the coast been doing well .... I never commented on the fall line or anyone in central NC
I mean, they got two majorish storms in the last five years, basically (Jan 2022 and Jan 2025)? Better than some, but I don’t think they’re at their snowfall average over the last five years, either. Just different levels of suck.

1" - 4x since 2021
3" - 1x since 2021 / Like 6 since 2014
6" - 3x since 2014
12" - 1x (2014)
20" 1x (2014 in spots around me)

I guess I am one of the spoiled 😂

edit : im sitting here all weekend crying about only getting 3-4" when that would finally give me another 6" Season. That would be my 7th 6"+ season in 11yrs and one was 5" .....

My wife is right im a selfish A-hole. I honestly didnt realize yall had been that low

Yeah, their snowfall average is lower than ours though. EC and Edenton averaging 3 inches the last 7 years, cant find their normals though. I tried to find a percent of normal snowfall map the other day, I was so curious. I remember seeing some cool maps when GSO was like 1000% of normal snowfall for the period of like 2013-2016 or somin

I'd really like for everyone to honestly answer the below
When was the last time you experienced this much snow at your location:

1+
3+
6+
12+
20+

I think it would open eyes to how poor it really has been for some

Problem for me is I lived in FL from 2016 to 2019, so I missed a string of good storms. So I’ll do it for me personally (which is dire) and for MBY.

1+: Jan 2025 (twice)
3+: Feb 2015 / Dec 2018 (2015 for me personally)
6+: Feb 2015 / Dec 2018
12+: Jan 2000 / Jan 2002
20+ Never

I haven’t seen 3” of snow in a decade next week. I’m desperate.

I just want to see somewhere in NC jackpot other than the beach this time. I don’t care if it’s mountains, Triad, Triangle or coastal plain. I’m a willing snow chaser for an in state Big Dawg

The entire east coast has been doing rough! DC/Balt averaging under a foot the last 7 years, nyc averaging 12 inches less than normal, Bos like 20 inches less than normal. Though looked at Minneapolis they have been well above... hmm. Richmond has RDU's avg rn the last 7 years at 5.5
