Misc Cold Season Complaining

Euro will be drier but not as dry as the Ukie and we'll use that as a coping mechanism for the next 12 hours. Then we go from denial to bargaining quickly after that. We'll all start hugging the mesoscale model that shows a glimpse of hope then we'll all come back and do this exact same thing again next year.

I told ya this thing was coming south ! I told ya Ross, I’m on fire call me the new webber 1300m … jk I’m just a weenie , I’m not trying to rub it in , this one is wild , crazy part is we haven’t stopped going south on a single model yet , it just keeps going

Idk, the thing refuses to stop going south, will that be the case? If it keeps this trend for another 24 hours tho it’s cooked, won’t be enough time to nw trend anything more than an inch, if it stops now tho it’s fine , but again nothing has stopped going more south each run
 
This is going to throw a wrench into my off season prep. Usually I train for the expected NW trend, and things such as the MJO, blocking, etc not lining up. Now I have to prepare for South trends, having everything line up fairly decent, and still get screwed. And I have to think about Louisiana getting a foot of snow. I don’t know if I’m strong enough.
 
i bet I’ve refreshed this app 10,000 times over the last week. I’m so thankful there isn’t winter weather to track year round. 2-3 months of this clicking and reloading and cropping little snow map pictures on my phone so they’ll upload and I can pretend I know wtf I’m talking about to my online weather buddies. And for what? .7” snow on the season?? lol I mean man come on what is this any more
 
I don’t know if I’m going to sleep well after the Euro or not. On the one hand, it has a solid storm here still (4” or so ), but that’s not a big dog and the “trend” is worrisome. Bleh.
 
I'm just helping the cause a little bit I mean I literally think our worst case scenario is 2-4 inches 🤣 we almost had an inch out of nothing last night

Fun!?! I don’t give two flips about sports ball, but I imagine this is the sick experience y’all, who do, go through.

This is not fun, and I didn’t realize how good I had it the last 7 years I didn’t have the thing I wanted so bad. And now. Now I just need ONE MORE HIT!

Drugs are bad y’all. Stay far away from that WX. it’ll ruin your life.

Mine is still at .75-1” on rain, when at least one model was saying “huh?” last night.

In all seriousness though even though this is the complaining thread, I wouldn’t be surprised if this trend halted soon and you got a trend back wetter.

But it looks as if I really should’ve said “since the Canadian is showing something amazing, a trend away from a big dog for anyone is on the table with its record in 2025.”
