Id say everyone on the board a good call is trace -8" .....Jimmy gets 1-4
I'm just using NWS guaranteed tactics. lolId say everyone on the board a good call is trace -8" .....
You’ll get 3.5”+ easyI don't like the gap heading my way
Nice! Was this storm an overperformer for you?My event is over and now rooting for you guys in the southeast!
1. 1989 wasn’t very similar at all to this one, I believe that was a late blooming coastal and precip didn’t get far inland at all. This is going to end up being a repeat of Dec 1989. If the next few years go like they did after that the next 3-4 years will be a lot like 2022-23 and 2023-24. Our next chance would be around 2030.
Nope. It’s just not gonna happen for Atlanta isn’t it
CookSeems most modeling has stopped with the overall NW adjustments for QPF but continue to increase QPF amounts near the back edge. Gonna be some lucky sweet spots under that 700mb fgen, on the NW fringes with the best ratios. I'm with others in thinking that sets up somewhere between US 1 and I-95 in NC. @SD might just jackpot with this one
Should I get ready for sleetNorth north north north
I just don't see how northern upstate gonna overcome these low DPsNorth north north north
Huntersville north? LolNorth north north north
Can’t help but be disappointed. It’s 25 degrees and perfect Prestorm conditions. If the northern stream was 12 hours later this was a widespread 8-12”
Tuscaloosa, sameWhy does Wake County always have to be on the line? It's either on the northern edge or the southern edge. SHM
Seeing pics and video out of New Orleans. I am experiencing seething rage simultaneously with joy. Happy for the folks getting to witness this. But man this hurts.
I was just thinking this, last storm was North and West of 85. What is it about the area between 85 and 95 where it just refuses to ever snow. Its so hard to watch Florida and New Orleans 400 miles south of us get more snow than we have had in the last 5 years combined. I'm still holding out hope for the NW jump that always happens, but for some reason that seems to only happen when its an 85 and north storm. Why does Wake County always have to be on the line? It's either on the northern edge or the southern edge. SHM
If Atlanta had missed out on the storm 11 days ago, I think you'd be a lot angrier.I mean Atlanta did fine this month already. That's why I'm not feeling any type of way about it.
it's the blizzard conditions. but yes. I'd gladly give all this to the others still stuck in a snow drought. If I had anything to give.I mean Atlanta did fine this month already. That's why I'm not feeling any type of way about it.
I'm sure I'd be banned by now. lolIf Atlanta had missed out on the storm 11 days ago, I think you'd be a lot angrier.
Maybe. Prolly. Though I'm taking things one year at a time. One storm at a time. Can't really make a broad long term prediction like that (or at least I wouldn't). This winter is already excellent on my end. Still doesn't mean I'm not jealous AF. Not out of the game yet though. We shall see. But doubt would see anything this cool.I’m not expecting any snow until the 2030s. Anything before then is a bonus IMO. Climo has changed.
Give me enough to be off work tomorrowCome on baby. I’m pretty saturated over here. View attachment 166340
Yes. You missed. You have 25 years worth of climo piled on top of an alligator’s back in a bayou somewhere today.I’m not expecting any snow until the 2030s. Anything before then is a bonus IMO. Climo has changed.
