Misc Cold Season Complaining

What ride the RGEM took me on this past week (relative to my location). From sitting near the head of the dinner table, to eating standing up, to giving me a TV tray, to putting me outside, standing up........as a topper, the beef tenderloin is gone, I get served chitterlings and they take away my plate and utensils and make me eat on a cocktail napkin. Utter disdain and contempt wells deep within my soul. 🤬
I’ve lost all faith. Swan diving off the cliff now.

Well, I'll always have the blizzard of '93, the true King of SE Snowstorms.

Well it overperformed but Woodstock/Acworth/Kennesaw/Marietta look to not see a flake. The gradient set up maybe 10-15 miles to the east of where the RAP had it. Oh well. At least the Gulf Coast is getting smoked but it is disappointing.

I'm with you, on the wrong side of the cutoff further NE

Yea this sucks badly. Painful to see it so close but so far away.

I'm happy for those southeast of us. I've had almost 8" over the past five years up this way while they've had almost nothing. We are experiencing the coldest January of most of our lifetimes.

I really am insane. I'll curse the hurt and disappointment with this event and vow to be done with it, but you can bet I'll put just as much desire and time in on the next possible threat. It's almost like virtual flogging.

Just been issued a flurry watch until 10pm

This one hurts when you can smell it and it doesn’t happen. Like I said earlier you win some and lose some. But to be honest, those in the southern part rarely get snow like this so happy for them. Growing up in Albany, the last major one was 93 that I can remember.

Well, I can relax and watch college basketball tonight, so that's good. Going to my hunting camp this weekend where there is currently 4-5 inches of snow on the ground. 🙃

Can probably say with confidence it's over here in NW ATL suburbs. What a gradient here! Now let's see what the midlands and lowcountry can pull off...
