Misc Cold Season Complaining

Well, here we go people. New Orleans may wind up with more snow in 24 hours than Raleigh has gotten in 7 years. Yeehaw! This is so wild. Can it snow in NC/SC outside of the mountains anymore? I truly believe climate change is a major driver of it.

Frankly, I never understood anyone trolling, but that's just me. It's passive-aggressive behavior which is FAR from my personality (I'm authentic/organic, blunt and direct). Not to mention, it's even worse when one reaches a certain age as a troller.

I’m happy for Mitch / Shawn and Columbia ppl they get s**t on constantly every year, after being in the game for days before bad trends. I’m absolutely not pulling for beaches, or LA/ FL ect they shouldn’t ever be in the game anyway. But SC Columbia area sure I can be happy for them

SO, because of a warmer climate, it will snow more in New Orleans than Raleigh?

This place is a giant Roschach test, just like a sports board. People see what they want to see and their personalities and pathologies get revealed in the process. I spend half my forum time here (in winter) and half on the Rivals Dawgvent and it’s like the same personality camps dominate both boards. Only the subject matter changes.

Because when weather patterns change, funky changes happen. It may be harder to see snow in places that typically used to get it and the opposite may be true. I didn't say global warming, I said climate change.

Oh, the same here. I would actually like the beaches to get something, but I have family down at the Carolina coast. The funny thing is, Columbia may be out of the game too. The trends that hurt RDU, tend to also hurt them as well. Sucks to be honest. This storm had potential for much of the SE. Congrats to those who score though, no hate there.

I prefer to think of it as temporary pattern changes rather than permanent climate changes.

Dude. You take things like weather to a personal level and you call other's weak minded.

Seems you may need to self-examine and look up the Dunning-Kruger Effect. The Dunning-Kruger effect is a type of cognitive bias in which people believe they are smarter and more capable than they are.
 
I grew up in North, SC just outside of Orangeburg, SC then moved to Columbia and now reside North of Charlotte. I hope all those guys back home can score down that way. If you knew how special snow was down that way we would all be happy if they get an inch or more.

On state game days I often look down at my outfit and realize I am a billboard for both adidas and a very bad/mid sports team and go hm this may be overkill
