Misc Cold Season Complaining

I absolutely feel your pain, I'm latitudinally virtually parallel to Montgomery in Georgia and we've also had no snow since January 17, 2018. The last storm that even produced one inch was back on February 12, 2010. I know that everyone wants snow, but this situation has the potential to produce an extremely rare event across the lower half of the region that this board covers.

To be fair though, a decent snow in GSP, CLT, and RDU might be a once in a decade event too at this point. 😆
 
As snow starved as everyone east of the Apps have been for many years, it is not surprising to see people caring only about their MBY posts. BTW how did the numbers end up on locations of posters here on SW? Since on average most NC posters come from Raleigh or Charlotte areas and usually get no or mixed precipitation, there are bound to be some bitter posts don't you think? It is not personal from their standpoint, merely an outlet for their pain and disappointment

And tbh I hated it came to that and never thought it would here but my anger from the snow holes the last two winters boiled over last year even during the warmer months and I knew when it was 110 degrees out I was going to Breckenridge. Kansas City just sort of happened because of how big the storm looked on the models(and this feeling of if I didn't go i'd regret it like I did last winter when people just kept telling me to wait for ours) but honestly after I came back and our storm just happened with no hype I'm kind of good with the winter. I had always said I just wanted one good one here and honestly I drive for work. I don't even know why I wanted it so bad looking back 🤣

It's different here anyway last week when it snowed during the day school was still open...

I dunno since early December has been very eye opening to me about why I was even so angry to begin with

On radar it looks like you've got snow incoming today, Brent?
 
Chattanooga was never in this but, the town is living up to my tag. Always on the edge never in the strike zone. We did do well with the last storm but, it's sad to waste all this cold air.

Would be absolutely crazy for it to be a completely south of I-20 event

I'll be surprised if we don't get another setup here... I mean most years it's February anyway

I'm still shocked we got one last week tbh 🤣 wasn't supposed to be our storm all week and just happened
