I guess I'm one of the few who's still happy about the runs. Hey, it's been 7 years since we've seen any real snow in MTGY, so I'm living for Tuesday!

Give me the Euro and everyone south of I-20 has their fix for awhileI absolutely feel your pain, I'm latitudinally virtually parallel to Montgomery in Georgia and we've also had no snow since January 17, 2018. The last storm that even produced one inch was back on February 12, 2010. I know that everyone wants snow, but this situation has the potential to produce an extremely rare event across the lower half of the region that this board covers.

To be fair though, a decent snow in GSP, CLT, and RDU might be a once in a decade event too at this point.Has to be frustrating for lurkers on the coast and in the pee dee / midlands reading the negativity and wondering what tf is happening. Poor guys/girls can’t even get excited at this once in a decade event due to trolls
Won’t take much now Fro to turn that 1” into 2”. Then hope for Colorado ratios. Time. We’ve got that

If the 5H pattern was in agreement with other modeling and we were 48 hours from the start of the storm, I’d say that moving the 2” line up 2 rows of counties would be a good bet.
The fact is most of us could get off our butts and do what you did if we really wanted to see snow.
On radar it looks like you've got snow incoming today, Brent?And tbh I hated it came to that and never thought it would here but my anger from the snow holes the last two winters boiled over last year even during the warmer months and I knew when it was 110 degrees out I was going to Breckenridge. Kansas City just sort of happened because of how big the storm looked on the models(and this feeling of if I didn't go i'd regret it like I did last winter when people just kept telling me to wait for ours) but honestly after I came back and our storm just happened with no hype I'm kind of good with the winter. I had always said I just wanted one good one here and honestly I drive for work. I don't even know why I wanted it so bad looking back
It's different here anyway last week when it snowed during the day school was still open...
I dunno since early December has been very eye opening to me about why I was even so angry to begin with

Would be absolutely crazy for it to be a completely south of I-20 eventOh, I absolutely agree. I'm thinking that this storm is absoltuely going to eventually perform in a manner very similar for Georgia to February 12,2010, but with the nothern line of precipiation being more suppressed than that event.
How many flurry for Jimmy? Thanks gobblessNot the kiss of death I promise
@Mitch West
Shawn and Flo gonna rack up!
Hell @stevogonna do okay too
You will take being on the northern fringe 72hrs out compared to being on the southern fringe 100 out of 100 times.
Yay i get to see flurries tomorrow at least that’s a win for the Tennessee valley. Good luck to you guys down south hope to see some great photos from the storm. hopefully i have something to track before the winter is over
