I haven't had accumulating snow in 3 years, 4+ inches in 7, 6 inches in 16, and over 6 in 23 id like to see it snow to feel like it's still real

We're going to be eating a
sandwich along I85. Miss 20 miles north last week and 50 miles south this week.Jk Stevo. Idk what's going to happen. I know the NW trend is real. I've been burned by it 100s of times it seems. But can't remember the last time it helped me. 2014 maybe? Seems it only exists when it screws us
If I have to watch a day of bad trends and then go to see THIS NC state basketball team play a conference game against CALIFORNIA I will go off grid

A lot of those still got snow though. Just not as much as they wanted. It’s the south, we take what we can get.

I know it’s the cmc but at least it’s been consistently showing us getting something around these parts hopefully i can keep my fingers crossed and pray it shows something here at 12z
You call 0.5 snow? Maybe down your way but that's 1/10 of average up here. And after 2 years of nothing? Nobody in the south is hurting worse than this area from GSP to RDU and we're about to miss again. Maybe RDU doesn't but GSP to CLT almost certainly will.

Not even trying to hide it …. I think absolute BS , I haven’t gotten 6” or more in 6yrs but Someone on the Gulf of Mexico or someone in Charleston will. I’d rather lose to Roanoke that feels normal …. This is just annoying. Frankly I’m pulling for it to fall apart at this point and be cold as balls and dry

If we’re lucky. I’m on the Laurens county line in gville county and I can remember a couple events where I got snow and Greenville did not

If we can't get snow, I hope it turns warm and wet. Many areas are now starting to get really dry and the cold is useless without snow. Hopefully we do not even go below 32 again after this cold shot leaves.
That was the official. But a lot of areas around Atlanta got 4-5
I'm actually okay with what the 12Z GFS was showing. Usually the GFS has a suppression bias in the 3-4 day range when it comes to systems like this. Now if future NAM models run begin to show strong suppression, that is when I will become quite worried.
