I hate off cycle runs of the globals and using them to determine trends, for the meso's I'm cool with 6z and 18z.

I could be wrong but I still don’t see anything significant making it that close to I 85.

For folks in North Carolina things are looking better. We will know more when the models are in better agreement but it appears that the best chances for a significant snow will be from I-95 east which is the traditional dividing line for winter storms that run up the coast. With the very cold air in place, any snow that falls will be around for a while and there are possibly more storms to follow with the favorable upper air pattern we are locked in. I've got my fingers crossed that I will be working from home at least a couple of days next week

Ok, so I went to sleep and apparently, that 0Z EURO was a complete off run and it went back to garbage at 6Z .....See thats the annoying part, when you feel like youre back in and the next cycle its gone. Like just keep the same BS scenario where Carolina Beach gets a decade worth and dont tease

I will bet my entire Mortgage New Orleans doesnt see an 1" of snow. My point was, thats the equivalent of CLT/RAH Mets putting 12-18" on TV.... you just dont do it till you have to, bc ppl will freak out so you just hide it from the ones who dont know until you have to tell them. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little worried about something like Jan 2018 still, but even though it was just a couple inches at home, I'd be pretty happy with something somewhat like Jan 2014, and I'm definitely going to call out if my work isn't smart (probably will be okay though because this isn't essential) considering that I just had an accident and would have to drive on hills.
In that case, if you're to the north, you're relying on stuff we're just not going to know for sure about for a couple days.

We are inside day 4 and the 6z GEFS was almost a whiff for both CLT and RDU. We can keep saying the GFS is going to shift NW but we need the ensemble to show more than just 2 members with more than a dusting.
I’m headed to the store now with a list a mile long. This will sure end our threat, but at least I’ll eat good.

I will say this and I will say this with great emphasis. IF we see the energy phase, you're not going to see coastal snow at all. It will go towards a strong Miller-A. If it fails to phase, if you're north of 85, expect very little.
