Would be insanely hard contest due to nature of this storm along the coastal regions. Margins would be off widely. Or add some other areas that often get left out like Macon Georgia, Columbia, SC and Cape Hatteras NC.
My God, Troy Landry is gonna be able to feed the gators snow cones.I posted this in the "complaining thread." Feel free to remove, if it's been already posted here:

Nah I think Columbia deserves a little more than they get. After all, Columbia is a little further north than Atlanta, but it seems like Atlanta usually gets more snow. There’s a reason they always get left out, it’s because they should.
This is pretty wrong to wish members of the board to never see wintry precipThere’s a reason they always get left out, it’s because they should.
I’m being comical. A little teed off as I watch the NC piedmont (a generally favored area for snowfall) get shafted to give people who have moved to avoid snow….more snow.Nah I think Columbia deserves a little more than they get. Alright give me thumbs down. Really just being comical and satirist. This is pretty wrong to wish members of the board to never see wintry precip

Better have a thick skin in this thread, right @Avalanche? Some folks don't get our sadistic, yet funny as hell humor.Alright give me thumbs down. Really just being comical and satirist.
Dallas, GA?Ok I should have compared to Dallas. Closer in elevation.
Only if foreplay is end game.Tracking snow is the only time where you can say foreplay is sometimes better than the main event
It wouldn't be bad at all and I'd have no issue with it if we could get just something. It's gotten so ridiculous along 85 from GSP up your way. Just unbelievable how we keep failing. We aren't going to get many more chances either. Maybe no more honestly. CAE can have 6-8 inches, I'd be happy with 2 which is still only like a 3rd of climo but instead we're going to get clouds and extreme cold. I'm ready for the pattern flip and 70s honestly. Tired of watching everyone else cash in.I’m being comical. They are finishing up the tree work here and moved to the major road close by now.I can release few more details. Entire section of i95 Georgia will be salted and brined starting Sunday after dark. Staging as the public saw already started. This cross-state effort will include Florida, South Carolina and North Carolina. Military is on standby to assist i95 being shutdown and rescues. Power companies have had at least 7 day notice to protect critical lines to keep the economy going if destructive icing materializes.
And they're right. Feb 2010 footprint incomingThere is only small talk and concerns of resources coming from fringe areas (Wilkes County) sending the majority of their trucks out of town means they cannot afford to see more than 2” or it will take a very long recovery time in their home county etc. It has happened before. Big decisions to make. Odds are the north-west trends will only be “modest” among the people making money decisions.
It’s always better to be prepared than sorry. For those reading, I’m not forecasting doom and this isn’t unusual. Military and companies due respond from time to time esp when it deals with tropical flooding and i95. Winter weather is of course more infrequent. They are finishing up the tree work here and moved to the major road close by now.
Seeing lots of camo vehicles around and DNR are starting to scatter
The weather briefings are gonna come quick and fast
