Misc Cold Season Complaining

So, where are we this afternoon? Have we canceled the storm, or are we back to grits and shiggles?

Yeah, I am completely exhausted. If this hits, I'm probably going to be fine with moving on from winter even though it looks like we're going to attempt to reload.

Heck, I was trying to take a bit of a break when the ECMWF threw that haymaker model run on Sunday, and I've been reeled in even further than I was earlier in the month and in December when I noticed that there was potential for some real cold (which we lost the real frigid stuff since we lost the EPO ridge, this time it appears that's incoming though).

Granted, you can throw some fault here to the fact that some dummy decided that they were going to swerve at the last second in front of me while I was driving this morning. It was as if they were trying to get into an accident with me...and they drove off after they did this.

I did not have the CFS having credence on my 2025 weather bingo list.

Why am I getting lumped in as being a pessimist? 95% of posts are pro-snow and because I give value to the Euro/AI models I am getting trolled hard...🤦‍♂️

It’s okay, we love everyone. We need some pessimism / realism to balance out the unreasonable optimism sometimes lol.
 
I'm tired of model watching. I think I'll just go with the Euro output from here on out. 20% chance of light snow on Tuesday and frigid. No appreciable accumulation expected. Warmer by the weekend with another chance of cold rain.
 
It ain’t nothing personal kylo I just don’t think we should cancel yet. I’ve told most ppl let’s see Sunday night or Monday morning how things look before we make more definitive calls

Oh definitely...the snowy models usually almost always win out. If I had a nickel everytime the Euro was wrong at day 4...
 
The thing is. The euro/EPS snows pretty good here so idk how it's not snowy
 
Brad Nitz on Channel 2 in ATL has thrown out his forecast. Dusting at best for ATL, heavier amounts macon to the coast. However, he ends the forecast with showing a scenario 2 with the low further north and more impacts in ATL but says that is looking less and less likely.

I guess we shall see lol.

He was like some cranky old man on some sitcom constantly whining. One of the most pessimistic people ever when it comes to weather.

Sadly he was right quite often lol. Dude was a riot to me...I kid you not he cracked me up so much he almost made me wish for screwjobs just to watch him go off. For some reason most couldn't appreciate his comedy.
