Misc Cold Season Complaining

This December 1989 again with this storm. Then a major pattern change and the end of winter in the southeast. No big snow this year in much of SC and the Charlotte area. Maybe in a few years it'll happen again, but I doubt it. Global warming.

I do feel we end up with a median between each of the models. GFS probably to suppressed CMC probably north but maybe they trend towards each other. CMC definitely has to much precip so ignore that but just placement in general

its not that it's too far north.

its too cold.

and its too much moisture.

and its phasing the system with the northern stream and tilting it perfectly for a se blizzard

it's wrong

it's going to do what the canadian always does and be wrong and for some reason have people believe it over the euro/gfs cause it shows a nice storm

Yea I definitely know that. I’ve never seen the CMC correct. Mainly looking at the low placement vs anything

the canadian is a perfect story of the lovely entwinement of weenieism and optimism that ultimately leads to the weenie's demise both mentally and physically.

if the canadian had no snow everyone would say "that model sucks". but now in script, its better than the euro and gfs

Lol...and double lol at widre..everyone got annoyed by him but me...his complaining and constant pestimism cracked me up. Then again I have a weird sense of humor.

GFS has completely lost the Storm….. like it’s over lol

Canadian still says Welcome to the History books take pics to show your grandkids

Someone is wrong

You guys ever watch that movie where this couple goes to a "retreat" thing and it ends up being a cult? The dude totally misses all the warning signs because his girlfriend overshadows the danger they're in?

Well that's the Canadian model right now. It's the girlfriend.

Or what about the one where the couple go on a vacation to another couple's house. The dude misses all the warning signs again because he can't get over the fact that his wife may have cheated on him and he's trying to be "fun".

Yeah that too. The GFS/GEFS EPS/Euro have "cheated" on the weather weenies and now they are looking for greener pastures and can't see the warning signs.

But the whole GEFS? Come on now; lol.
If the Euro and EPS are empty, we might need to ratchet up the anxiety meter a notch or two. But if pretty much every other solution shows a path to victory, then I'd feel pretty comfortable throwing the GFS products in the fire.

I can’t do this for 10 more days.

All right, I’m back now. Time to see if this one has fallen apart since Sunday (I’ve successfully kept my head in the sand). I’m going skiing this weekend, too, so I won’t be able to follow too closely until Sunday night.

Catching up now, it looks like it’s trended towards there being a storm but it’s quite suppressed and I may end up being too far north / west? I’ll take that over battling (and losing to) sleet and freezing rain like last week. It would be nice to not have to sweat P-types for once and just hope the precip shield is more expansive than modeled.
